Apartamentos "Ala Residencias"

Great location right in front of the beach and the malecón. You can easily walk to a store and a myriad of restaurants and enjoy the nightlife as well. You also have street food vendors within a block if you really want some local flavor. They also have bikes with locks you can use :) The top floor terrace space is great with a view and cute lights for the nighttime plus a small pool to cool off and enjoy. Juanita was extremely welcoming and was even waiting for me at the door when I arrived! She answered all of my questions and told me I can send her a WhatsApp if I needed anything. Rooms are very clean, spacious, a/c, fridge, kitchen… and well equipped bathroom too The bed and pillows, I want to take them home 😂 I would definitely recommend this hotel and will book again for the next time I’m in town! 😊

The location is wonderful. I was taking a water taxi to Belize, so it was really convenient. It’s also right on the boardwalk with lots of activities and restaurants nearby.

Ala Residencias is our home away from home. The location is great, the rooms feel like it would be your own home on the seaside in the heart of the town. Waking up to the view from the balcony is the best. The staff and admin are so friendly and accommodating. Always ready to help. Juanita and Maura do their best to ensure that we are taken care of. Would definitely recommend and is the place for us whenever we are in Chetumal.

The property is very well located and easy to get to restaurants and stores. The ladies working there are so friendly and were able to help with anything we needed. Having a larger room for a multi day stay was great and the 24 hour pool came in handy on the really hot days.

The communication from Juanita was incredible. We got a late bus so would be arriving at 6am and she made the entire stay seamless and effortless. Sent a video of how to find the property and the keys and extending our check out time to 12. We were also able to leave our bags while getting food the next day too. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the facilities were perfect! Would absolutely recommend staying here!
